3. Once the baby gets the teeth, start using soft-bristled toothbrush and a small amount of fluoride toothpaste.

4. If two of the child's teeth touch, start the flossing.

5. Excess sugar in food and drinks convert into acid which forms cavities in teeth. Hence, make a habit of washing your mouth properly with water or toothpaste all the time.

6. Develop a habit in kids to limit or avoid sugary foods, juices, candies etc which leads to dental cavities.
